Yoga changed everything about me.  Yoga changed how  I look, think, and feel.  Most importantly, yoga changed the way that I care for myself.  When I prioritize my physical and mental needs, my cup runs over in all other areas of my life.

I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training (YTT), in the jungle of Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, at a program specializing in horse yoga.  We regularly meditated with the horses.  It was amazing to see horses in a trance.  I stayed in a treehouse and would wake to howler monkeys and the rest of the jungle carrying on in their morning meeting.  I traveled to Rishikesh, India for my 500-hour YTT.  However, I didn't care for the program, so I traveled Asia instead.

My journey with yoga is continuously evolving. I used to crave Ashtanga, Hot 26, and Power. Attending three classes a day was normal for me. At that point in my life, I needed to work my body, I craved the energetic release.  As I evolve, so do my yoga preferences. Now, I’m more of a Yin and Kundalini kind of girl. Meditation is a major part of my life. I practice many forms, but Transcendental Meditation is my go-to.

After living as a nomad for three years, I now reside in San Diego, California where I work as a special education teacher.  I offer corporate and private sessions in the San Diego area,  and virtual sessions via Zoom.
